Do you love everyone? Jesus commanded us to “love one another.” He made no exceptions.

He didn’t say, “Love one another except for those who really hurt you, those who you consider enemies or those you really don’t know that well.”

He said simply,
“As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
John 13:34

Jesus was God in human form. John reiterated God’s Command to Love.

“Beloved, let us love one another, because Love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is Love.”
1 John 7-8

God is Love. God is in you. So when you feel you just can’t love someone, stop and simply ask God, “Do You love that person?” His Answer will be yes!

Wait! What if you see no love in that person? Does that mean God’s Love is not in them? No! It’s there, but they may not know it yet.

Go back and reread John’s words again. Those who do not know God’s Love cannot express God’s Love.

But you know God’s Love! You have experienced His Grace and Mercy. You have been brought into the presence of one who seems unlovable to show them how God loves.

Will they understand immediately? Will they thank you? Maybe not. Will you ever experience Love from them? Perhaps not. But you will have done what Jesus commanded you to do.

And The Love, Mercy and Grace you extend to others will grow inside you, even as you give to others.

You will have planted a seed that can be watered and nourished by others, as God grows His Love to perfection.

Today look for those who do not yet know The Joy of God’s Amazing Love. Don’t avoid them or preach at them. Ask God how He wants to reveal His Love to them through you.

Plant the seeds of Love in faith. Trust God to make them grow!

“Neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, Who makes things grow.

The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded, according to their own labor.

For we are co-workers in God’s Service; you are God’s field, God’s Building.”
1 Corinthians 3:7-9
