Many times we talk to God, but we never really expect Him to answer us directly.
We look at our circumstances. We try to figure out what God is saying, based on what happens around us.
But God is much more personal than that. He will talk directly to us.
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear A Voice behind you, saying, ‘This is The Way! Walk in it!'”
Isaiah 30:21
Not only will God give us Directions, He is also willing to tell us things we can’t find anywhere else. They are “unsearchable.” They are “mysterious.”
“Call to Me and I will answer you. I will tell you Great and Mysterious Things you do not know.”
Jeremiah 33:3
That excites me because there is so much I want to know! And the really good news is God is willing to tell us things we don’t even know to ask Him.
God wants to us to know more than just answers to our questions. God wants us to know Him. Prayer gives us the opportunity to come into God’s Presence and get to know Him.
The more we learn about Who He is, the less we need to know about things. He is Everything!
“You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart.”
