Some fish set out on a journey to find the sea.

They spent days swimming around in search of the water, anxiously looking for their destination.

They shared their worries and confusion with each other as they swam, then, one day, they ran into a wise fish and asked the question that had preoccupied them for so long.

“Wise one, where is the sea?”

The wise fish answered: if you would stop swimming so busily and struggling so anxiously, you would discover that you are already in the sea. You need to look no further than where you are.

Jesus said to His Father God when He prayed for us in The Garden,  “Now this is eternal life: that they know You, The Only True God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.”

John 17:3

We are already in Eternal Life.  We need only to know more of He Who is The Life.

Jesus said to him, “I am The Way, The Truth and The Life.”

John 14:6

Jesus said,  “I am in My Father, and you are in Me and I am in you.”

John 14:20

Jesus said, “The Kingdom of God is within you!”

Luke 17:21

Don’t waste time dreaming of Eternal Life in a place called Heaven one day and overlook where you are now.   Look around.  Look within.  You are already there.

But there is a lot more to explore and know.  Knowing God will expand into eternity.  And we will have to exchange our earthly bodies for heavenly bodies to see all He has to show us!
