The world has become a noisy place.
People on every side are telling us what we should think … who we should like and who we should dislike.
It is beyond like and dislike. We are being told who we should love and who we should hate.
In contrast to God’s Words of “fear not,” we are told to fear everything and everyone.
In contrast to God’s Desire for His Creation to be one with Him and each other, we are told to push others away.
It is becoming difficult to know who is telling the truth. We listen to one and they seem to have a valid point. We listen to someone with an opposing view and they seem to have a point too.
And there are lies … deliberate bending of the truth until it breaks. The lies further create division. We are not sure who to trust.
Sometimes we want to shut out everyone. We have the urge to shout, “I can’t hear myself think!”
What can we do? God has given us the answer.
“Be still and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10
Be still. Let the voices of the world fade away. Let your own voice be silent.
Settle the matter. Is God still God? Does He have a Plan for all of His Creation? Does He have a Plan for you? Is it a good Plan? Can you trust Him?
Do you believe He is The Truth?
Do you believe He is God or KNOW He is God?
Sit awhile and be still. Tell your heart, soul and mind to be still and rest in His Presence.
When you know Who He is, you will know who you are and why you are here. And you will rise, knowing exactly what you are supposed to do next.
