There have now been numerous reports of the great revival taking place at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky.
What started as a simple chapel service became so much more. The praises and worship of God have now continued for days.
It has been beyond just “feel good goose bumps.” Lives have been radically changed. Some who have come have gone back to their communities and revivals are breaking forth there.
This is the true fruit of revival … the fire that comes from sparks … and spreads.
Revival is Jesus’ invitation to come. But it is also His Great Commission to go forth and spread the gospel.
What happened after Pentecost?
Filled with the Holy Spirit, the disciples boldly disbanded and began to proclaim the kingdom of God to the surrounding regions.
Each day, those that were formerly lost were radically impacted by the power of the gospel.
“And The Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.” Acts 2:47
“And all the more believers in The Lord, multitudes of men and women, were constantly added to their number.”
Acts 4:17
“The Word of God kept on spreading; and the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were becoming obedient to the faith.”
Acts 6:7
“And the hand of The Lord was with them, and a large number who believed turned to The Lord.”
Acts 11:21
When believers are filled with the Holy Spirit the whole world is affected by The Glory of God. Amen! Come Lord Jesus!
