When I was out driving with my father in the backwoods of South Carolina, I got lost. I cried out in a panic, “I don’t know where I am. I’m lost.”
My father very matter of factly said, “You’re not lost. You’re with me and I know where we are.”
When I think I am lost now in this big, wide, confusing world where nothing makes sense, I do not need to panic.
My Father God is with me.
When I say, “I am scared,” He says, “Don’t be. I AM here.”
When I say, “I don’t know which way to go,” He says, “I know.”
When I say, “Where are we going?” He says, “Home. Turn here.”
When I say, “How are we going to get there?” He says, “One step at a time. One turn at a time. I have The Plan.”
I am still not sure where we are, but I’m not lost. I’m on my way Home with my Father God. My earthly mother and father are already waiting to welcome us!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares The Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
