(Continuation of How I Became A Writer)
I was thankful the words of the advent series had found a home in so many hearts.
By the next year I had started a new adventure in writing, which I continue today. I started a blog (carolynpriesterjones.org).
As people continued to ask if I planned to write a book, I continued to say no. But I decided to put each chapter on my blog site as a post. I had no idea what was happening a few doors down from our house.
A dear friend was reading the blog. Not only that, she was printing out each chapter. She is a scrapbooker. She made a beautiful scrapbook of all the posts and gave it to me after Christmas.
I was holding the book in my hands! Even now as I write this, I get goosebumps remembering what a clear message God was giving me.
God had a mission for His Words and He wanted me to get on with my part in it.
Before the next Christmas, Jay and I were in bookstores signing our book, Christmas of Discovery. Not only that, the book went around the world to other countries. We still see advertisements today in languages we don’t know.
In the years that followed we published another book and we are currently working on more. I have several “in progress,” so we will have to see which one gets to publication first.
After all the ways God had let me write, what could possibly be left? He gave us his next assignment. We started a You Tube channel called Knowing The One.
I wrote all the scripts and delivered the words. Jay did all the graphic arts, videography and produced and posted it. As we had done with the Sunday School lessons, we listened to what we felt God wanted us to teach and we moved accordingly.
And now we come to the next “reveal.” God has given us a new direction to go! He has Gifts to deliver before Christmas and He needs delivery teams.
