We are born “pre-packaged.”
God expresses Himself in the world through the parts of Himself He put in each of us. They are given to us as gifts to enjoy, but also gifts to share with others.
We each have gifts. No one is excluded.
Each gift is unique to what God planned to do through that person.
We need not look at others and wish we had their gifts or feel deprived because we do not.
We should thank God for the gifts of others and seek ways to connect. We can enjoy their gifts. We can share our gifts. When we share together, God gives us even greater gifts to share with the world.
We should also appreciate the gifts God has given us. Sometimes people in a show of humility hesitate to acknowledge their talents.
When we do that, we are not acknowledging God Who gave us those talents. So when someone notices we have a talent, we should say thank you and proclaim God, The Giver of The Gifts.
Paul says,
There are different kinds of gifts. But they are all given to believers by The Same Spirit.
There are different ways to serve. But they all come from The Same Lord.
There are different ways The Spirit works. But The Same God is working in all these ways and in all people.
1 Corinthians 12:4-6
Not only should we be exploring what talents God has given us, we should rejoice that we all have one Gift in common.
We all come pre-packaged with Love. And when we give Love together, we will discover it is truly The Greatest Power in the universe!
