We sometimes put more emphasis on Jesus’ death than His Remarkable Life.
Jesus said more about Life than death. With so much emphasis on Jesus’ death, I just had to ask Him about it.
I asked Him, “Why did You come?”
Jesus came to do his Father’s will.
For I have come down from heaven, not to do My Own Will but The Will of Him Who sent Me.
John 6:38
Jesus came to fulfill the law.
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Matthew 5:17
Jesus came to divide good from evil.
Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division.
Luke 12:51
Jesus came to call sinners, not to condemn them, but to rescue them.
Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.

Jesus came to seek and save the lost.
For The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

Jesus came so no one need be in darkness.
I have come into the world as Light, so that whoever believes in Me may not remain in darkness.

Jesus came that the world might be saved. He did not come to condemn.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.

Jesus came to serve and give his life. Note, His Life is The Way. Note, giving a Life is different from giving up a life.
For even The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His Life as a ransom for many.

Jesus came to bear witness to The Truth.
For this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to The Truth.

Jesus came to give abundant Life!
I came that they may have LIFE and have it abundantly!
