You are invited to a Lenten Journey of Reflection
Carolyn Priester Jones!
Provided through this blog site
I will be posting devotionals during the season of Lent. In addition to having the opportunity to read the written word, you will also be able to hear my reading of the devotional. I invite you to commit to a time of reflection every day on Who Jesus is … and what His Life has to do with yours.
You can visit this blog site at any time, but if you want to be sure you don’t miss any of the devotionals, please sign up on the link provided at the bottom of the post. You will then receive the posting sent directly to the email address you provide. And as always, please share with your family and friends!
The festivities of the Easter season invite us into the pageantry, sufferings, and resurrection of Jesus. However, if we are not careful, we may end up as a mere spectator. We may become one of the crowd, who is attracted to the action and perhaps even caught up in the message that somehow Jesus did something really big for us. But, when the action dies down, we are left with the lingering question, “Who is Jesus really?’
What does His Life have to do with our lives? Is there something beyond the cross and even beyond the glorious resurrection of Jesus? You may think that you are lost (or hidden) in the crowd, but now He is coming toward you. His eyes lock with yours. He is smiling at you! He cares what you think! He is asking you …
But what about you? Who do you say I am?
