God has appeared as Fire many different times. Fire gets our attention. It lights the darkness. It warms the cold. But it can also consume and destroy.
Chapter Three explores the different ways God showed His Power when appearing as The Fire. We love God’s Fire as our Source of Light and Heat. However, we tend to avoid one of the other purposes of His Fire — Refining. God does allow us to experience spiritual fires that test what we are made of and teach us what is most important in life.

they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
