I love The Living Bible translation of Proverbs 15:23, which says,

“Everyone enjoys a fitting reply; it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time.”

Two important elements:
Right thing
Right time

Because we have a truth does not mean we should speak that truth at any time. There were times when Jesus could have spoken and yet He chose to be silent.

By the same token, we should not hesitate to speak Truth when the time is right. How do we know?

Use God’s Fact Checker:
Is what I have to say true, by Your Standards, God?

Is this the right time to speak it or write it? If not, keep me silent on it, until You tell me to speak or write.

And, one more thing, Lord, whatever Truth I believe I have, let me deliver it in Your Love, and not my human grumbling.

“Instead, speaking The Truth in Love, we will grow to become, in every respect, the mature Body of Him, Who is The Head, that is Christ.”
Ephesians 4:15
