After my long conversation with God about Life Planning, we decided we will have our bodies cremated.

We wanted to follow what I heard from God.

What is The Message of His Life and ours?

Life does not end with a sealed up grave.  It begins with an empty grave.

He has been with us from the beginning, is now and ever shall be.  Being in His Presence is Fullness of Joy.

But for those who still walk the earth, we must do as Jesus said to do.  Bless them.  Comfort those who mourn.

Processing all those thoughts, this is the revised Jones Plan.  However, we will remain open to God’s Guidance for any changes in The Plan.

As He so gently reminded me, this body belongs to Him!

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is The Purpose of The Lord that will stand.

Proverbs 19:21

We will not have our bodies buried.

We will not take away from the earth by planting concrete boxes in the ground.  We will keep the burial plots we purchased.

We will have a flat marker placed there with a holder for flowers.

We will have the following inscribed on it:

Our names

Birth date

Promotion date

The following scripture verse.

He (she) is not here.  He (she) has risen!

Matthew 28:6

We will have a bench placed there with the inscription

In Your Presence is Fullness of Joy!

Psalm 16:11

But we will not be buried there.  We hope when anyone sits on the bench, they will ponder the wonder of the empty graves.

Even as they sit among death all around them, we hope they will not see death.  They will see an oasis of Life!

We will have our bodies cremated.

We will have the ashes scattered in the ocean.

I will share more in the next post about why we have chosen the ocean.

We hope those who still live on earth will join us in celebration that we are still one in Our Creator, all of us moving from Glory to Glory!

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

“Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”

1 Corinthians 15:35-55

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in The House of The Lord forever!

Psalm 23:6
