Children go through a stage when they are frightened for their parents to leave. When their parents are out of sight, they seem completely gone to the yet immature mind.
But eventually they learn the truth that Mom and Dad can be very close (like in the next room) without being seen.
As Jesus was wrapping up His Time in the physical body, more and more He began to move out of sight and let His Disciples learn to connect with Him without His Physical Body between them.
It has always given me great comfort to realize that Jesus meant it when He said, “And be sure of this — l am with you always!” He is very present, as are all those I love, who have shed their physical bodies. In fact, they are now able to truly be with me always!
I came across the writing below today. It made me smile. Sounds like something my parents would say!
