Humans were created perfectly.  We were made in The Image of God.  Adam and Eve’s sins could not change what God created as perfection.  Believing that all humanity was doomed as a result of the sin of Adam and Eve would be to give satan far too much credit.

What Adam and Eve did was to open a door to satan’s temptations, but we cannot blame our sins on them.  It is we who respond to satan’s invitations.  When we sin, we are responsible.  In a world full of “mud puddles,” eventually all fall into at least one of them.  We, do therefore, have to deal with the issue of sin.  We try and try to “do better,” but satan is waiting and baiting.  We get to the point that we don’t even have to wait for him to accuse us of messing up again.  We accuse ourselves and add, “I just can’t change.  Maybe God just made me this way.”

Would God make us to sin?  No!  However, sin was very much on God’s Mind when He made His Plan.  Jesus appeared on the earth with A Mission.

… “You are to give Him the Name Jesus,

for He will save His People from their sins.”

Matthew 1:21
