Sometimes we get taken in by those who tell us what God’s Will is. Why is that?

We may doubt God would really talk to us.

We may hear the loud voices all around us and conclude if there are that many who believe they know God’s Will, who are we to disagree?

We may remember all the times we thought we heard God, but when circumstances didn’t go the way we hoped, we concluded we must have heard Him wrong … or perhaps He was just messing with us.

It becomes easy to look to leaders, especially those in religious circles and believe they know what God’s Will is. They may … or they may not.

However the words come to you, always fact check them against The Word of God as recorded in His Word.

And know all His Words lead to the same place — Love.

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.

And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:36-39
