What will we do in Heaven? I like to think we will be the best versions of ourselves. We will get to use the God given talents we have refined on earth.
If you like to sing, even if just in the shower, you will sing better than ever. You might even have a spot in the heavenly choir that serenades those on earth from time to time.
If you like to tinker with things and fix them, perhaps God will allow you to guide those on earth who are struggling to fix things. Maybe you can whisper in their ear, “Use the pliers. Turn it to the left.”
I love to encourage people. God has led me through various paths to comfort and encourage people. I sometimes feel like a midwife, coaching people through the pain to the joy.
Maybe God will anoint me and send me on assignment to “bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
Isaiah 61:1
Most of all, I love telling the story of Jesus and His Love. Maybe God will let me go throughout the world and proclaim His Good News in every language!

Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but He has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He really is!
