You are a unique Creation of God. However, you carry within you seeds of those who went before you.
Their footprints, so to speak, are in your DNA. This has prompted many to research their linage. We wonder who is it that is inside us?
It is actually easy to answer the question of Who is inside us. Jesus answered it.
I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.
John 14:20
Every cell in your body is filled with Your Creator. The talents you thought you might have gotten from your grandmother? All God at work in both your grandmother and you.
What about your bad habits? Can you blame God for that? Were you just made that way? No! Satan knows what exordinary Gifts God has given you. It will be his priority to try to take those first.
If a person was created to deliver Joy, satan will try to lead them into sorrow and depression. If a person was created to be a Bearer of God’s Truth, satan will tempt them to doubt or worse, even begin to lie.
How did you come to be filled with God’s DNA? You are His Child. Sometimes people are thrown off by the statement, Jesus was the only begotten Son of God.
This simply means His Conception was different from the usual way babies are conceived. But it did not mean God did not have other children.
Jesus talked about His family.
He said,
“Whoever does The Will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
Matthew 12:50
When Jesus prayed, He said,
“Our Father.”
Matthew 6:9
Paul said,
“The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.”
Romans 8:16
John said,
“See what great love The Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”
1 John 3:1
So you don’t need to do sophisticated tests to determine Who is inside you. You are your Father’s Child. And He put more than His Footprints inside you. He put Himself!
Now the real question for all of us is whether people can see how much we look like our Father.
Jesus said,
“Anyone who has seen Me has seen The Father.”
John 14:9
